Artwallcollection values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. This policy has been drafted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We only process the personal data you provide to us yourself, or that is necessary for the delivery of our products and services. This may include:

  • Company name (if applicable)

  • IP address and information about your visit to our website (via cookies)

3. Why do we use this data?


We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Customer details and order history: as long as you remain an active customer, plus up to 7 years afterwards in line with our statutory record-keeping obligations
  • Invoices and accounting records: 7 years (statutory retention period)
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
  • Contact form data: up to 1 year after the last contact

6. Who do we share your data with?


We only share your data with third parties when this is necessary for our services or when we are legally required to do so. This may include:

  • Our webshop provider (Mijnwebwinkel / MyOnlineStore) for the management of the webshop
  • Payment providers for the processing of payments
  • Delivery services for shipping orders
  • Mailchimp for sending the newsletter (if subscribed)
  • Bookkeeper and accountant for financial administration
  • Google (via Google Analytics / Tag Manager) for website statistics

Where legally required, we have a data processing agreement in place with each of these parties. We never sell your data to third parties.


7. Transfers outside the EU


Some of our service providers (such as Google and Mailchimp) are based outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers only take place under appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.


8. Security


We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Our website operates over a secure HTTPS connection.
